A nearby photographer snapped these photos as the convict escaped most dartingly.
"I was jsut about to take a panorama picture of the fireworks when I noticed the convict dressed as a purple sheep escaping down what appeared to be a newly placed ladder."
It appears that the convict had an accomplice. Much is unknown at this stage, but one thing is for sure, no one will sleep safe tonight.
