Hey Guys! Spark Here! I was just wondering if any magic spells were going to be restricted? Like windwalk, because it's allows you to fly. Brad if you can inform me on other stuff on restrictions and how much the spells might cost please do! Also I know this will be a lot of work but I think it would be really cool to have quests that allow you to learn a spell. If has any other segguestions or comments please say. I think this will be a really cool thing!

Yea is does take xp but thats not a problem if u have like a xp grinder or something, it isn't that hard to get xp.

First of all Spark, that is the ONLY time I will read and reply to a scrolling comment because I had to read it 3 times to see all of it.
Moving on...
The new plugin will consume XP to cast spells. These spells are powerful and they should not be just thrown around so easily. Also every step of acquiring or learning a spell will require players to go through steps. Such as being taught through a Wizard NPC in a quest or purchasing the spell in a Spell shop. Some spells will have limited amounts of uses, such as a Tome book that has the ConfusionSpell assigned to it with 3 uses to allow a player to cast confusion on mobs and force them to attack one another.
This plugin will require some setting up and will not be active for possibly another week.
Details on the plugin can be seen here http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/magicspells/
Not all spells will be available in all worlds as they are very damaging and we do not allow flying on the server.

When looking through the plugin details, it appears that casting a spell will actually consume Mana.

If you would like to see your mana level type /mana. There will also be a cool down time for some spells.

And places to practice your new magic skills sounds really fun Snowbird!

MagicSpells plugin is running now in a test world called Belaria. Pvp is allowed in this world ONLY. We want to see what kind of damage the spells do to terrain and eachother.

So leave your special items at home in a safe place and come cast some spells!

p.s. We will be adding some secret bosses for you to team up to battle against using Citizen2/Sentry NPCs.

Thank you for the feed back. It helps us to work out the bugs in a new plugin.

Can you do me a favor, please, and list exactly what happens and which spells cannot be cast. I will then be able to replicate this with our test Citizen account and get it fixed.
